A week of FREE musical theatre fun for younger children thanks to Vision Arts and Valero

Does your little one love to sing or dance? Are they dramatic? Then Vision Arts Minis Summer Youth Project is for them.
Vision Arts, Pembrokeshire’s newest performing arts hub, based in Haverfordwest, has teamed up with Valero to offer children in school years reception, one and two, a full week of musical theatre-based coaching and training - culminating in a show during the school summer holidays.
The young participants will be able to channel their inner Mowgli or Colonel Harty, working on a production of Jungle Book Jr.
The children will be led and supported by industry-standard professional arts practitioners who will tutor them in acting, singing and dancing; putting their new skills into practice in a public performance of the show… and thanks to Valero’s generous sponsorship there will be no charge for the opportunity to take part.
“Vision Arts’ ethos is making the arts accessible for everyone - and thanks to Valero’s sponsorship of our Minis Summer Youth Project - finance will not be a barrier to involvement in this great show. We know that all the children will have an amazing time - and will learn a lot as well as having loads of fun,” said Drew Baker, Vision Arts Creative Director.
Valero spokesman Stephen Thornton: “We are delighted to sponsor this excellent programme that will enable children to build their confidence and enjoy the creative arts. It is great that a service like Vision Arts is offering these opportunities and we hope that the children will go on to achieve great success this summer and beyond.”
The Minis Summer Youth Project will take place from August 22-26. You can register your child at www.visionartswales.com
