Chalet fire at Freshwater East

Reports are coming in of a chalet roof fire at Freshwater East.

Mid and West Wales Fire and Rescue Service crews were called to the incident at Trewent Park, Freshwater East, soon after 1pm on Saturday, August 3, following reports of a fire at a solar panel unit on one of the chalet roofs.

Officers have since confirmed that the fire was confined to an electrical external distribution unit at the rear of the property.

Crews from the Pembroke Dock Fire Station isolated the fire and monitored it for a further 20 minutes with a thermal imaging camera.  The crews left the scene soon after 2pm
