Community Led Housing! Letterston

Community Led Housing! Come to our Roadshows in Pembrokeshire on Tuesday , 9 July 3-8pm in Neyland Hub; Letterston Memorial Hall Thursday 11 July 3pm -8pm.
Could this be the answer to your community’s housing need?
PLANED, the community development charity based in Narberth is pleased to announce the appointment of a Community Led Housing Development Officer, to our growing regional team. Sarah Foster, a chartered surveyor, has over 30 years’ experience of working in housing development, planning consultancy and community engagement. The five key features of a Community Land Trust are Community, Sustainable, Housing, Affordable and Forever.
Focussing specifically on a proven need for affordable rented housing in Pembrokeshire’s towns and villages, we are able to offer support and guide communities through the process of creating Community Land Trusts. The tasks involve community engagement and site identification, working with housing and planning departments, other professionals and organisations, to provide homes which will stay in the ownership and control of communities forever.
A Community Land Trust enables communities to work together to take ownership and control of the housing stock. Community led housing schemes have already been initiated in Solva, Roch, Crymych and Hermon. No two schemes are the same as no two communities are the same!
The post is funded by Pembrokeshire County Council’s Shared Prosperity Fund through the UK’s Levelling Up Fund.
