County Hall turns purple for PoTS
--
Pembrokeshire County Hall will light up in purple on Tuesday to raise awareness of the debilitating condition PoTS.
PoTS (Postural Tachycardia Syndrome) can affect people of any age.
It is a disorder of the autonomic nervous system. Symptoms include tachycardia (fast heart rate), dizziness, breathlessness, chest pain, fainting, exercise intolerance, gastrointestinal issues, severe fatigue, and many more.
PoTS Awareness Day is on Tuesday October 25 and comes at an important time.
Support charity PoTS UK says it is receiving increasing reports of people developing the disorder after contracting Covid-19.
County Hall will join other UK landmarks including Brighton Palace Pier and the National Library of Wales in turning purple.
