Fundraising ‘Walk home from Work’

Fundraising ‘Walk home from Work’
--
On Friday 1st July, Meg Asparassa planned an epic fundraiser to support Pembrokeshire’s ONLY Hospice at Home charity, Paul Sartori Foundation. She planned to walk home from work in memory of her Aunt, Liz Tomlinson who had passed away from cancer in July 2021. Throughout Liz’s life she had raised numerous amount of money for various charities, and Meg wanted to continue in her footsteps.
Meg and a team of colleagues - Rory McLuskey, Dan Richardson and Luke Ashford walked from their workplace in Tidworth (Wiltshire, England) to Pembroke (Pembrokeshire, Wales) a total of 177 miles in 3 days. Meg also supported Ward 10 Withybush Hospital and The Robin Cancer Trust with her fundraising efforts
Meg has currently raised £1,310 and the fundraising page is still live to attempt to reach the target amount of £1,500.

After the gruelling walk, Meg said “You can do anything, if you put your mind to it.” She is such an inspiration.
