Local Artist of the Week beginning Sunday 9th June: SAMANA

Samana is a duo of Rebecca (vocals/percussion) and Frankie (guitars and other instruments) who live on the eastern edge of the Preselis - a landscape that inspires their music, music which is melodious, with a deep addictive groove, and which also deals with weighty concerns such as love, grieving, nature, and spirituality. It is haunting, moving and uplifting.

All songs this week are taken from their self titled third album. Their previous album received a 5* review from Mojo Magazine and was made psychedelic-folk album of 2022.

They launch their UK tour at Newport Memorial Hall on Sunday 16th June.
