Local Artist of the Week: DAN JORDAN

Milford man Dan Jordan was well known as the drummer in Devil's Answer, a hard rock band who performed in full Kiss-style make-up, even when being interviewed on BB Skone's radio show.
In recent years he has broadened his musical palette to become a singer/songwriter and multi-instrumentalist recording his own songs either as a solo artist or with his band The Warbirds. He has a distinctive voice, being favourably compared with the likes of Leonard Cohen and Tom Waits, his lyrics are always deeply poetic and imaginative, with a great inventiveness and eclecticism apparent in the songs' arrangements.
Dan has just released a new four track EP, The Trouble With Monsters, on which he sings and plays all the instruments except for his pal Sam Harman who plays electric guitar. All of the songs are featured this week.
