Local Artist of the Week: DANGEROUS FLAMINGO

Dangerous Flamingo was a project to bring together musicians to develop the songs and writings of Lisa and Ali and has now become a fully-fledged (pardon the pun) band.

If you love harmony and melody in your music and have wide variety of genres in your collection then Dangerous Flamingo won’t disappoint. With their strong vocal harmonies and foot tapping rhythms Dangerous Flamingo offer a Pembrokeshire Americana sound, with elements of Indie, Folk, Country and more in their music.

The sultry vocal styles of Ali Moore and Lisa Flude blend perfectly to suit their thought provoking and original lyrics. Driven forward by inspiring and exciting guitar from Simon Pettit and superbly supported on bass by Jon Holcroft, together they create a diverse set with lyrics and melody to tug on your heart strings and rhythms to tap your toes to.

They have just released their second album, Unbalanced, and all this week’s self-penned selections are drawn from it.
