Milford Haven Karate Club has three members representing their country

Milford Haven Karate Club has three members representing their country at the upcoming WUKF World Championships in Dundee this weekend.
From Thursday top Sunday, chief instructor Kevin John, Connor John, 14, and Josh Whatling, 21, will be representing Karate Wales against over 40 countries and 5000 athletes over the four day event.
Kevin will be competing in both veteran team and individual events with Connor and Josh also representing teams and individual events in their respective categories.
Sensei Kevin said:”It’s been a long hard road for the lads with all the travelling and giving up many weekends for training and competitions, but now is the time to fight on the biggest stage of all.
“It’s their first taste of world level fighting, and it’s an honour to fight alongside them both. This was a dream for Milford Haven Karate Club a few years ago, and now it has become a reality.
“To fight alongside my son has always been a dream for me and something I will remember for a long time. We really hope we can do Milford and Wales proud. Hopefully, we will see more of our students on the world stage in the future. We would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to our sponsors as without their help, this would not have been possible.
