New Years Day Swim, Angle

As the New Year approaches, the Paul Sartori Foundation invites you to an exhilarating New Year's Day Dip in one of the most picturesque places in Pembrokeshire. Join us in celebrating a decade of community support, welcoming the New Year with a refreshing dip into the icy waters of Angle Beach.
Joanne and Marcus Lutwyche, cherished supporters of the Paul Sartori Foundation, have been the driving force behind the Angle New Year's Day Swim for the past ten years. This beloved community tradition, a testament to their dedication, has been handed over to the Paul Sartori Foundation as a token of gratitude for the charity's unwavering support during challenging times.
Reflecting on their journey, Joanne Lutwyche said "Over a decade ago, inspired by the care provided by the Paul Sartori Foundation, we decided to organize fundraising events throughout the year, including the Angle New Year's Day Swim. It became our way of giving back to the Hospice at Home Service and we're delighted to continue supporting this fantastic local charity."
Ros Raymond, Trustee, said, "The Angle New Year’s Day Swim has witnessed consistent growth in participants each year, underscoring the enduring commitment and robust community spirit demonstrated by the Lutwyche duo. It is indeed a privilege for the Paul Sartori Foundation to carry forward this local event, echoing the values of community and family, which are the essence of the Paul Sartori Hospice at Home Service”.
The event highlights:
- New Year’s Day Dip (NYDD) Medal: Every participant registered online at www.paulsartori.org or on the day will receive an exclusive NYDD medal.
- Hot Soup Delight: Registered participants can warm up post-dip with a free cup of tasty, hot leek and potato soup provided by The Old Point House, featuring fresh produce donated by the Point House Team and Puffin Produce.
