Pathway Counselling Flying the Flag for Mental Health at Welshstock

Pathway Counselling Flying the Flag for Mental Health at Welshstock Pathway Counselling, a free mental health service providing free counselling, free workshops, and free 1-2-1 drop-in sessions, proudly participated in Welshstock, a local family festival held at Scolton Manor. The event was a remarkable success, bringing the importance of mental health to the forefront and engaging with the community in meaningful ways. “We met the most lovely people from Pembrokeshire and beyond who were so supportive of our message and our efforts,” said Jasmyn Collings, Marketing Assistant. “Everyone we spoke to expressed their strong support for free mental health services across Pembrokeshire. We had some great conversations about access to mental health services and breaking down barriers to counselling.” Despite challenging weather conditions during the first two days of the festival, the people of Pembrokeshire stood strong and were determined to have a great time. Pathway Counselling managed to create a welcoming and engaging environment for families. A free indoor activity station featuring colouring, gratitude and mindfulness activities, face painting, temporary tattoos, sweets, and chocolates attracted many visitors, providing families with entertainment while also learning about the services offered by Pathway Counselling. The Pathway Counselling flags, illustrated with the empowering message "You are enough," were a hit among festival-goers. With many attendees waving them throughout the festival, creating a sea of support for mental health awareness. A member of the public spoke to Pathway Counselling, “I always used to want more, but now that I practice gratitude every day, even just reflecting on three things about the day as I fall asleep, I feel so much more grateful for my life and how hard I've worked to get to where I am now. Gratitude can really help shift the focus from what’s missing to what’s present.” About Pathway Counselling Pathway Counselling is committed to providing free, accessible mental health services to the community. By attending events like Welshstock, Pathway Counselling continues to raise awareness, break down barriers, and offer crucial support to those in need.
