Pembrokeshire WI have some very exciting news!!
After the very successful opening of Narbelles WI in Narberth, earlier this year, we would now like to open a brand new WI in Haverfordwest, our county town, and where our Federation Office is based. Please remember you don’t need to live in Haverfordwest to join.
We are holding an open public meeting at the Albany Hall, 12 Hill Street, St Thomas Green, SA611QF on Monday 13th May at 7pm, please come along, a warm welcome awaits you, also free refreshments will be available.
Come along and meet some of the team, who will help and advise on everything needed to open and run a WI.
The WI is the largest voluntary women’s organisation in the UK. We play a unique role in providing women with education opportunities and the chance to build new skills, to take part in a wide variety of activities and to campaign on issues that matter to them and their communities.
The WI is a place to meet regularly, make new friends, and make a difference in your community.
Currently Pembrokeshire has 41 WIs across our county, we are looking to open more, we have had interest from many ladies about an evening WI in the Haverfordwest area. We are keen to hear from anyone else who would like to open a new WI anywhere in our county.
