Recycling collections on hold in Pembrokeshire town

Recycling collections in certain parts of Johnston are being put on hold today (Friday) as a result of what has been described as 'operational issues'.

The areas affected are The Close, Langford Road, Greenhall Park, Cranham Park, Hill Croft and Maes yr Ysgol.

Pembrokeshire County Council has confirmed that the collections will now take place tomorrow, Saturday, July 27.

Residents are being asked to put their recycling bags out once again by 6am on Saturday morinng.  The grey bag refuse collections are not affected.

Today's collections from Freystrop, Sardis, Troppers Inn and the road from Troopers into Fresytrop will take place later than usual.
