Location: Across our homes in the Pembrokeshire Area - Tenby, Pembroke Dock, Haverfordwest & Saundersfoot 
 
£11.50 per hour

Orbis Education and Care are seeking a dedicated and passionate support worker to join our compassionate and energetic team at our Bangeston Hall Home, and we want you to be part of our mission.  We are currently looking for flexible team members to join us on a zero-hour basis, covering a wide range of shifts and with the freedom to pick up as many shifts as they'd like.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide personalised care to each person in their daily activities, including personal care, learning and social interactions.  
  • Foster a safe and positive environment, ensuring the emotional and physical well-being of each person. 
  • Implement individualised care plans, under the guidance of an incredibly supportive senior team. 
  • Support our people during recreational activities, outings and community integration. 
  • Collaborate with the wider team to maintain accurate records and documentation. 
  • Promote independence, self-esteem, and confidence in our people, celebrating their achievements and milestones. 
Requirements:
  • A compassionate and caring nature, with a genuine desire to make a positive impact. 
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships. 
  • Resilience and patience when faced with challenges, adapting to individual needs. 
  • A willingness to learn and follow guidance from the team. 
  • Basic IT skills for record keeping and communication purposes. 
  • Flexibility to work on a shift basis, including weekends and occasional night shifts. 
  • A drivers license is required

  • A rewarding hourly rate of pay of at least £11.50 per hour, with additional overtime possibilities if you'd like to earn more. 
  • Paid DBS & CIW registration.
