SEA Open Studios, Painting-Café

Over two July weekends a Pembroke Dock studio is ’all at SEA’ - hosting a summer exhibition of art by five Pembrokeshire-based artists and photographers.
The A J Ludlow Watercolour Painting-Café, on St Patricks Hill, Llanreath, joins the Open Studios programme as part of the Summer Exhibition of Art (SEA), organised by a group of volunteer artists from Pembroke Dock and Haverfordwest. The Painting-Café’s gallery and studio will be open 11am - 3pm on 5th-7th July and 12th-14th July, where visitors can meet exhibiting artists, Andrew and Meiru Ludlow, Angie James, Alan Merrett and Yulan Liu.
Open Studio events offer opportunities to connect with artists, hearing what inspires them and purchase their artwork directly. The exhibition features an eclectic array of artwork - from vibrant paintings to thought-provoking illustrations and captivating photographs.
Exhibiting are:
Meiru Ludlow, self-taught watercolourist painting landscapes, flowers and ordinary things found everywhere. She also runs regular painting classes at the Painting-Café.
Angie James, well-known local author and illustrator mainly in watercolours and inks, which she makes from plants and rocks.
