Valero take on the County

On Wednesday, April 24th Valero Pembroke Refinery’s football team will be travelling to the Bridge Meadow, Haverfordwest to take on Haverfordwest County in a match that is sure to test their players to their limits.

The squad has been selected, training sessions have taken place and with a host of players playing at the top end of the Pembrokeshire league Valero are sure to give a good account of themselves against a team that competed in Europe at the start of the season.

Valero are one of the main sponsors at the Bridge Meadow having supported Haverfordwest County’s Academy for a number of years and the team are looking forward to showcasing their talents against Pembrokeshire’s premier side.

Pre-game entertainment will be provided via an u8s mini festival featuring teams from Haverfordwest Academy, Rising Stars (Haverfordwest’s U9s girls team), Milford Utd and Hundleton.

They’ll also form a guard of honour for the players as they enter the field.

Kick-off is at 7.45pm with proceeds at the gate going to our charity of the year ASD Family Help Pembrokeshire.
