YOUTH OPEN MIC sessions to continue at Queens Hall Narberth, after successful launch event last month

On Thursday 29th August the Queens Hall will be hosting its 2nd Youth Open Mic (YOM) night in collaboration with a community steering group of artists and young people. Doors open at 5.00pm. Session starts at 5.45pm for young artists aged 11-18.

YOM is a FREE open mic session for young people aged 11 and 18. Young poets, performers and musicians – are turning up. Our mission is to ensure young performers feel as special as possible before, during and after their performance.

This session will be running back-to-back, on the same day, as Open Mic nights – Youth Open Mic for ages 11-18 lasting up to 2 hours. Then our popular Open Mic for ages 18+ lasting up to 3 hours.

Since the start of Open Mic nights in 2023 younger performers have asked to have an opportunity to get on stage at the Queens Hall. They too want to have a professional artists experience... access to a professional sound engineer, performer assistants and free promotional photography. YOM performers can be beginners to veterans, soloists to bands and poets to performers.

To get a sense of the vibe visit Instagram or Queens Hall website. To get on the mailing list for future events and book a YOM slot, go to the Queens Hall Narberth website.

If you’d like to come along as part of the audience, you can pre-book an early bird meal deal with Block & Barrell restaurant at Queens Hall – or you can just turn up for a drink.
